Have the logos gotten you all excited about Ender’s Game? Today, four fansites released official army logos for Dragon, Salamander, Asp, and Rat armies and now I’ve got some prizes to give away to two lucky fans!

I’ve got up for grabs one set of four army magnets and one set of four army pinback buttons. These are not official merchandise, but wouldn’t you love to have them anyway? I’ve already got a set on my fridge, looking awesome!

Dragon Army is definitely my favorite. Maybe it’s because upon taking over is when we really get to see Ender thrive or maybe it’s because I can’t wait to see how bean goes about drafting Dragon Army, but it’s also partly because Game of Thrones has me loving dragons lately.. and this Dragon emblem looks Legit.

I like the look of the Dragon Army logo. The tribal design of the dragon really contrasts against the orange background. Its the most attention-grabbing one out of the four, in my opinion.

You guys should put a better picture up so we all can see all four of the buttons. But I personally think that the rat army logo is really nice.
I feel like Dragon army’s badge is too typical. Such an aggressive
looking dragon, to express the precise and military dragon army. Rat
Army logo however looks really good. The colors are nice and I do like
the tail that spirals along with the pin itself. Really well done

I like the Dragon Army logo the best–not as a result of my bias towards the characters leading it– but because of the way the dragon is portrayed. Unlike the others, its features are more pronounced in a way just brings seemingly sharp lines to an overall rounded shape This makes it the most menacing of the creatures pictured–although being the only “large” animal also helps–and also serves to foreshadow its resurrection as the most legendary of all armies of all time in battle school. Aesthetically, I like the the way the dragon both conforms to and fills the logo without leaving a lot of empty space. This filling of the space focuses the viewer’s attention on the power of the creature, and perhaps its conformity into the circle shape reflects that it is a controlled sort of power that only exists when wielded by a both brilliant and wise mind; the most powerful is one realizes the extent of his or her own power but chooses to withhold it. This is the true essence of Dragon Army, which strategically wins battles not only to win and display a show of power but also to satisfy the commander’s intentions of reaching a point where the Army will no longer have to wield its power over the others–a point where power is known and does not have to be further proved to the teachers.

Rat! Rats are such badass animals. They can survive a lot, form complex hierarchy and are quite intelligent. If some kind of apocalypse happens, rats will survive (along with cockroaches :P)

Gosh, it has been years since I read “Ender’s Game” (when it first came out), so I don’t remember the context of the different armies. I find the dragon’s head design very dynamic, but if I could only pick one to wear, it would have to be the snake. I was born in the year of the snake, and I’ve always liked them.

I like the Salamander design the best. Dragon Army is my favorite but design-wise I would have to say Salamander. Like the others it is fairly simple but the minor details put it over the top. Plus I’ve always been a lizard/reptile fan.

Gotta say Salamander Army. Color choice is perfect; green is not on the extreme as red or blue that personally represent to me blind anger and coldness/estrangement. Salamander itself demonstrates agility somewhat of superiority. Therefore this one is definitely my fav.

The Dragon Army logo is by far my favorite. The history as the underdog of battle school and what they soon represent makes it all the more memorable. The color is exactly how I imagined it to be too. I used to think it was ironic for Card to make Dragon the underdog because I’m a big fantasy reader as well as science fiction but it only made Ender’s figure even more epic.

The Dragon Army logo is my favorite. This is because I love dragons in general. I am a Sci-Fi/Fantasy fanatic, and love books that involve dragons. The main reason I play Skyrim is for the dragons as well. I also like the color of the dragon logo. The gold is majestic and strong and looks more clean cut and mature than the other army logos.

Of course, my first thought is: Dragon Army! I remember the first time I read Ender’s Game and how much I wanted to embody Ender’s character and heart. I painted a dragon on a piece of wood in my back yard and wondered, ‘If I was in Battle School… who would I be?’ I’d like to think I’d be more like Bean, but who knows. I’d like to pretend, anyway.
