I think a lot of us will end up agreeing that the first thing it brings to mind is Star Wars!

  1. Wendy Clare says:

Hmmm…it looks more like “Petra’s Game”…after Harrison Ford, she was the first one who drew my eye–and Ender was the last. Not exactly what the focus should be. But it’s cool looking otherwise.

  2. MajorAnderson says:

hmm – not a fan. I think it’s too busy, not just with faces/people but with all kinds of different elements (like the gate and the alien ships). Ender is not prominent enough. And the alien ships look like sperm on fire. I like the one-sheet better.

  3. Darian Robbins says:

I like it. Yes, it has a Star Wars feel to it, but if your worried about those types of comparisons then Harrison Ford should not have been cast at all, nor cast ‘Han Soto’ as his assistant.

Now that I think about it more, maybe Ender should have been more
pronounced, but stylistically the current position has a way cooler
visual effect for me. I like that this poster highlights the ensemble of
characters Ender encounters to better illuminate the scope and breadth of people involved in this story.

As opposed to the one sheet where they had just head shots of the
supporting cast, seeing poses actually makes the characters seem like
    they have “life”

  4. claud says:

The first thing that comes into my mind when I look at it is that it looks like cutting out all the photos, diffuse the edges, and pasting them all onto one paper.

  5. Petra Vecchio says:

I much preferred the first poster. The first thing that comes to mind is “Why is Hailee standing out more than Asa ?” This is just way to busy, and I feel as if I could replicate this on some hi tech but still not professional version of Microsof paint.

  6. […] go on sale October 3, 2013 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. If you compare this book cover to the newly released international one-sheet, you can see there’s a slight change in the center. There are no formic ships on this poster, […]

  7. What’s up, after reading this remarkable piece of writing i am as
well happy to share my know-how here with colleagues.
