The Weekly Ender #6
I have you tell you guys, I’m really struggling with this vlog thing with almost nothing to talk about. If you guys want to ask me a question that I can answer in some upcoming TWEs that might help. For now I’m just a rambling, bumbling Launchie with nothing to talk about, agh! In the meantime, I really hope Summit does something this week!

PHOTOS: El Juego de Ender @ Cinemex Mexico City Event
Thanks to a tip by @franiahs and some Google-fu of Ender News, we’ve got some photos taken from an event that took place in Mexico City, sponsored by Cinemex. The road race was themed to several upcoming movies including El Juego de Ender, which is the Spanish title for Ender’s Game.
Here’s a photo of the t-shirt several racers wore.
Along with some of the other items available. That green card looks like it goes straight to my “never see because I’m a wuss” list.
Here’s a great photo of some racers wearing their El Juego de Ender shirts. Looks awesome!

‘Third’ Merchandise Added to EnderNet CafePress Store
Recently, I opened up a CafePress store for EnderWiggin.net and added a few designs, including some basic “Ender’s Game” ones and “The Enemy’s Gate is Down” ones with the EnderWiggin.net logo.
I just added a few new products with a rather simple, but very Ender’s Game design.
Yup, a baby onesie with the word “Third” on it. Obviously this would only be relevant to parents having a third child and happen to be Ender’s Game fans, but I thought it was funny nonetheless. The onesie comes in black or in blue/gray/pink.
There are also Third bibs, since baby Thirds have to eat.
And also Third hats, to help protect the precious minds that will eventually save our race.
If you have a request for a design, feel free to let me know!
Also, can you tell we’re desperate for news here? Sigh.

VIDEO: Kyle Clements in Indiegogo Film Campaign
Kyle Clements, who plays Young Mazer Rackham in Ender’s Game, can be seen in this video campaign to raise post-production funds for his film ‘Silo’.
Silo is a project we’ve been working on for almost two years. The concept derived from our fascination with the power of the human mind, and how patterns of thought can shape our reality.
Silo is a story woven in both the past and present, about the relationship of James and Melissa, and how just as easily two people can come together, they can be pulled apart. It’s a story about holding on, letting go, and how the pressures of the world and our own mind can shape our lives…if we let them.
If you’d like to contribute to their film, visit their page at Indiegogo.

See Harrison Ford in the Poster for ‘Paranoia’
The poster for Harrison Ford’s new movie Paranoia has been released. The film, which also stars Gary Oldman and Liam Hemsworth, will be released on August 16, 2013.
In this high-stakes thriller, Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is an ambitious junior technologist trying to climb the ranks of telecom giant Wyatt Corporation. But after one costly mistake, Adam is blackmailed by ruthless CEO Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) to turn corporate spy by going to work for the firm’s top competitor, which is run by Wyatt’s old mentor, Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford). Adam soon finds himself delivered into prepackaged success, living his fantasy life of old-world boardrooms, private clubs, exotic cars, and all the spoils of Manhattan bachelorhood. However, behind the scenes, he is merely a pawn in Wyatt’s power play, and must search for a way out from under his boss, who will stop at nothing, even murder, to gain a multi-billion dollar advantage.

VIDEO: Asa on the “Amazing Fun” of ‘Ender’s Game’
In a video published just a few days ago from an interview done at last year’s Young Hollywood Awards, where Asa Butterfield received the Breakthrough Award, he talks a bit about filming Ender’s Game and what he was doing in LA at the time of the awards.
I’ve just finished filming Ender’s Game and I’m over here to do all the motion capture for that, it’s various training routines or fighting in zero g, which is amazing fun to film.
He’s also got a hilarious story about the mispronunciation of his name. Watch it in the video below!

Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ Finds US Distributor
According to Variety, Hailee Steinfeld’s upcoming film Romeo and Juliet (out July 26 in the UK) has found a US distributor with Relativity Media. The company will release the film in the United States on September 6, 2013! See a new still of Hailee as Juliet above and watch the trailer for the film below.
The film was shot early last year in Italy in Mantua, the Northern Italian city to which Romeo was banished in the play, and at Rome’s Cinecitta Studios. Producers have been touting “Romeo and Juliet” as an ageless story reimagined for the 21st Century and told in the traditional setting it was written.
Hailee has done several projects since Ender’s Game and Romeo and Juliet will be her first appearance on the big screen since her Academy award nominated performance in 2010’s True Grit.
