—–Finally, after 2 years of waiting and getting almost everyone around me to read EG, the day is almost here. It has been wonderful to have this story coming to life as something positive to look forward to. Thank you to the website admins for this site enderwiggin.net, ender news, and ender’s ansible (there are more, I just limited myself to 3). All of the reviews I have read (its a lot) are pretty much a mixed bag. Events not fully explained is a common theme of complaint. Hence why people unfamiliar with the movie have negative comments about it.
—–Maybe the movie is not perfect, but it is orders of magnitude better than I could have ever done! I am sure it is not easy to stave temptation, and keep the moral heart of a story intact in this day and age of movies that focus on big bright flashy things that move quickly across the screen. Perhaps movies that actually make you think afterwards is going out of style. So I’m glad EG got to be one of those movies.

I would like to make a request of Enderwiggin.net. Can you make a discussion/blog so that fans can write congratulations and thank yous to Gavin, Bob, etc. They are probably used to the criticism, but it might help the child actors to hear some really positive comments and to know their effort is sincerely appreciated. I would stress that all of the comments should be constructive but mostly positive.

This book has been my favorite book of all time since 7th grade, which was 6 years ago. I was so excited to see this movie, and I think it was quite good! Of course, the die-hard book fan in me cringed at all the changes they made from book to movie, but overall I liked it. I wish it had been a bit longer, but what can you do. 🙂

I thought it was a decent book to film adaption…i would probably rate it a 6 out of 10. It kept the central themes and level of emotion. However, after reading several of the other books, i was disappointed in how some of the characters were portrayed…but overall I liked it.

I have been waiting for so long for this movie to come out. I remember when Asa first announced it on twitter I saw so excited and I immediately read the book! I really loved the book and the story of it! I can tell this movie has been worked on for so long with all of the visual affects and how they interpreted the story. And the characters were very well casted! I believe this is the movie of the year because it already had such a huge fan base and so many people were looking forward to it! Down to the specialized costumes and set, this movie is really a piece of art! 🙂 #EndersGame #Novender
