I mentioned in my Blu-ray review that part of the featurette showed some cool footage of the kids at Space Camp and Just Jared Jr. has a video preview of that part of the featurette. Watch Gavin get in Aramis Knight’s face to show them what it’s like in the military:

Ender’s Game Cast Watch #12
Hey guys,
it’s been two weeks, and while the cast have not been overly busy on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, we still have tons of news and pretty pictures to share with you.
Let’s start with Hailee Steinfeld, who has been by far the busiest of the young cast, having signed on to not one but two new projects in the last couple of weeks. First, she is going to play teen assasin Megan in Kyle Newman’s Barely Lethal alongsinde Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba. Second, she’s set to appear as Vince Vaughn’s daughter in his adaptation of Term Life, a graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and Nick Thornborrow. Not to forget all those other projects she’s either currently working on, like Three Days to Kill and The Homesman, or recently finished shooting, like Loveship, Hateship and The Keeping Room. No wonder German GLAMOUR editor Wolfgang Hertel calls her “A Girl for All Occasions.”
Hailee’s latest project, the new adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, just premiered in LA. Here she is on the red carpet with “Romeo” Douglas Booth and BFF Taylor Swift.
I like the dress. It proves again that Hailee Steinfeld is quite the fashionista. Which is probably why she made time to attend several events during New York Fashion Week, such as the Donna Karen 25th Birthday Bash, the Estee Lauder “Modern Muse” Fragrance Launch or the Calvin Klein Spring 2014 After-Party. I don’t know about you, but while I’m not sure about the Donna Karen one I’m partial to the Calvin Klein outfit.
Hailee herself has often admitted that fashion is hugely important for her. So too in the October issue of ASOS, the magazine published by the online fashion shop of the same name. E-Online published five shots ahead of time, along with a little article. Check them out HERE! (Update: More shots and a making-of video HERE at the Daily Mail Online.)
Speaking of fashion magazines: Several pictures of Abigail Breslin appear in digital magazine ContentMode’s current issue #11, together with a video in which Abigail talks about August: Osage County, Ender’s Game, and her fashion philosophy. Check out the photos and the video HERE!
Since then, Abigail has been keeping busy. She did a number of interviews recently to promote her various new and upcoming movies. She talked to ShockTillYouDrop about Haunter and Zombieland, discussed the terrifying experience of being locked in a trunk in The Call with DIY, and chatted to ALLURE about this and that. And according to Comingsoon.net, she has just started working on her newest movie, zombie thriller Maggie with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
While it’s not exactly a new movie, Khylin Rhambo also had news to share. He recently booked a guest role in the cop show Ironside!
Conor Carroll, on the other hand, has been walking down memory lane, sharing THIS awesome little ad with the world. Looks like little Conor already had the bully role down pat. Otherwise he’s been keeping busy getting into boxing and Facebook. Check out his new account HERE!
And since we are speaking of new social media accounts: Moises Arias finally decided to share his awesome photography on Tumblr. Here are a few examples of his work. Go check out his Tumblr 490tx for the rest HERE.
Finally, let’s briefly talk about the older cast: Ben Kingsley has joined the cast of Learning to Drive. Harrison Ford will receive the Hollywood Career Award at the 17th annual Hollywood Film Awards. He’s also keeping up the Han Solo act by angering leading politicians. Viola Davis appears on the cover of the October issue of ESSENCE. You can see a video of the shoot HERE. And while I couldn’t find the entire article online, several online news outlets have published parts of her interview with the magazine: Check them out HERE, HERE and HERE.

Ender’s Game Cast Watch #5
This past week had half the cast in a flurry over San Diego Comic Con. It looks like almost everone is attending!
According to the official Comic Con page, Suraj and Aramis as well as Jimmy Pinchak, Conor Carroll, and Cameron Gaskins are going to sign autographs on Saturday around noon (drawing of line tickets is around 9am), while the Thursday panelists (sans Harrison Ford) are scheduled to sign on Thursday morning. Good planning, Comic Con! It’s not as if the Ender’s Game fans will be waiting in line in front of Hall H at that time!
What I find interesting is that Brandon Soo Hoo, Khylin Rhambo and Moises Arias (both unconfirmed) seem to be going to San Diego, but aren’t part of the official line-up. What’s with that? Are they just going to hang out around the premises? Or is there some secret project they are involved in? (Ender’s Game Experience, anyone?)
Hailee Steinfeld and Asa Butterfield are also preparing for the big event. But while for Hailee things are going according to plan, Asa had to endure a few setbacks (read tweets from bottom to top) before he arrived safely in LA this morning.
According to his Twitter, he is going to meet up with his friend and Hugo co-star Cloe Moretz while he’s there.Earlier last week, when things were still a bit less hectic, Asa enjoyed a beautiful day in Sheffield, while Aramis went for some recreational Lasertag. Be careful, Aramis, your Bean is showing!
On a personal note, I’m happy to announce that two of my favorite fandoms are finally converging on each other, as Suraj Partha has become addicted to Doctor Who! I know your pain, Suraj. Now go spread the word! -
Ender’s Game Cast Watch #4
Another week of me stalking the Ender’s Game cast on the nets has come to a close. Let’s see what the kids have been up to.
Asa Butterfield has been all kinds of busy. Let’s start with the picture that finally made him Instagram-famous (and I wonder why):
Looks like that was the last day in Greece, before he had to return to London for his Prom!
Also, in preparation of his appearance at the Ender’s Game panel on Thursday, July 18, Asa went shopping at Carnaby Street, London. Will he wow you all with his fashion sense?
Personally, I’m slightly flashed by the pattern mix. But I’m sure that’s just me.
Speaking of Comic Con, Aramis Knight has confirmed that he will be signing autographs! He even gave a tentative date! Watch out for him on Saturday at the Summit booth! After Jimmy Pinchak, Aramis is the second non-panelist announcing that he is going to SDCC, but Khylin Rhambo, Brandon Soo Hoo, Conor Carroll and Caleb Thaggard are rumored to be there as well. While the kids are getting excited for the big event, Harrison Ford seems to have the time and leisure for a trip to Peru.
Hailee Steinfeld has been caught up in other projects. Nevertheless she had the time to tweet about her new magazine cover as well as an interview she did about her upcoming film Romeo and Juliet. Watch it below!
Moises Arias has a new film … or rather, a video. He appears in his friend Willow Smith’s new music video “Summer Fling”.
Finally, Suraj Partha seems to have a little less time for fun stuff this summer, as he is studying for his SAT! I’m sure he will ace it, though, just like he just aced his AP EURO class (according to his facebook). He did, however, have the time to post a video of himself singing and playing the piano in Paris. So romantic!

VIDEO: Moises Arias on Ender’s Game
In their interview with Moises Arias at the Despicable Me 2 premiere, DesdeHollywood asked Moises about his experience filming Ender’s Game. Here is what he had to say:
Reporter: How was it to work on Ender’s Game with Harrison Ford, a movie that will catapult you into stardom in the entire world?
Moises: Ahm, I hope that people will really see the variety of roles that I’m doing, and that they’ll start to see the different kinds of acting that I can do. I liked it a lot, and Ender’s Game gave me a big opportunity – to be an antagonist. Kings of Summer is a comedy and Ender’s Game is solely drama. There is a very big chance that if people like it it will be one of the biggest things in my career.
Many thanks to Fernanda (@franiahs on Twitter) for the translation!

Moises Arias Calls ‘Ender’s Game’ a Memorable Experience
Moises Arias talked with The Hollywood Reporter about The Kings of Summer and Ender’s Game, which is out on a wider release today and briefly talked about how to portray a character from a book. “You read the book, you read the script, they’re two different art forms.”
He also had great things to say about his time on set. “That was probably one of the most memorable experiences for me. I do believe that I’m going to be very different from what people were predicting, but I think it’s going to be a different flavor to what Bonzo is. I’m just happy that I got the opportunity.”

Moises Arias on Bonzo’s Hair
AOL has posted a 30 minute interview with Moises Arias in which he talks briefly about Ender’s Game and Bonzo.
Right before this film, I was doing Ender’s Game and they shaved my head on the last day of shooting, which led to that weird haircut in the film [Kings of Summer] and previously the director was like, “Don’t cut it before you come to set.” and I showed up with that in between stage of it actually growing out and it just being buzz cut and it ended up working. I look very sexy.
So while it’s a small little tidbit, it is interesting that they’d shave his head on the last day of filming. It would mean that he’s got a full head of hair (which we’ve seen in set pictures) for basically the whole movie and then for whatever reason, they suddenly wanted him to have a buzz cut.
What do you guys think this could mean? Does Bonzo shave his head because Ender drives him over the edge? Does he do it just before his fight with Ender? Or does the Battle School do it after the fight as a result of the fight?
Moises also talks about his career and about how grateful he is to his parents and family for the support they’ve always given him in pursuing his dreams. He then talks to two fans about the evolution of his career.

VIDEO: Moises Arias Talks to Young Hollywood
Moises Arias went to the Young Hollywood studio to talk about his upcoming projects and being called a young Dustin Hoffman. When the conversation switched to Ender’s Game, he said to expect “the doucheyest character ever” (yeah, I have no idea how to spell that either) and that there’s not one ounce of nice in Bonzo. He also mentions again how all the extras were scared of him on set.
