  • Cryptozoic’s Ender’s Game TCG to Include Autographed Cards

Cryptozoic’s Ender’s Game TCG to Include Autographed Cards

    Cryptozoic_Entertainment

Thanks to an inquiry by Ender News, we now know that Cryptozoic Entertainment will be releasing autographed cards for their upcoming Ender’s Game trading card game.

It’s unknown at this time which cast members will be participating, but since their other sets seem to nab everyone, I can’t imagine they can’t get all the named cast members to sign cards.

For examples from their other packs, take a look at their Walking Dead set and their Fringe set (um, this Fringe fan is now upset I didn’t know about this before) and their Castle set.

Basically, the you have a 1 in 24 chance at getting an autograph card in your pack. This brings back memories of the pure thrill I used to get finding a hologram in my Upper Deck football cards. šŸ˜€

    Toy-Fair

Cryptozoic Entertainment, a company that specializes in licensed games and trading card games such as their extremely popular World of Warcraft trading card game, has obtained the rights to develop a game and trading card game based on the Ender’s Game movie. (confirmed by Ender News)

At the 2013 Toy Fair in New York City, which was held earlier this week, Cryptozoic had on display the tentative logo for Ender’s Game on display. Unfortunately, although there are products on display under the Ender’s Game sign, those don’t appear to be Ender’s Game related.

If you haven’t bought their games in the past, their work looks really amazing judging by their current games available for The Walking DeadĀ and the World of Warcraft TCG.

And WHAT? There are Fringe trading cards? I better not go looking for them otherwise I’ll end up buying them…

So what do you guys think? Are you looking forward to playing a Battle Room board game?

Official ‘Ender’s Game’ Movie Calendar Available for Pre-Order

    Ender-Calendar

Those of you that have been waiting to purchase official merchandise for the Ender’s Game movie can now pre-order a 2014 calendar featuring stills from the movie.

Featuring stills fromĀ Ender’s Game, the much-anticipated film directed and written by Gavin Hood, this official 16-month calendar follows the story of Andrew ā€œEnderā€ Wiggin, an unusually gifted child who is sent—70 years after a horrific alien war—to an advanced military school in space to prepare for a future invasion.

I checked with Summit and was assured that this is an official piece of merchandise, the first of hopefully many to come!

The calendar can be pre-ordered from the following online outlets:

  • GIVEAWAY: Ender’s Game Pins from SDCC 2012

GIVEAWAY: Ender’s Game Pins from SDCC 2012

    SDCC12 Ender's Game Pin

Since ‘Ender’s Game’ is so far off, there wasn’t much of a presence at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, but they gave out some things anyway. At the Summit t-shirt booth, they offered up IF t-shirts and Ender’s Game logo shirts. They also gave out little pins of the logo. These are exclusive to SDCC 2012!

I’ve got five of these pins to give away. Don’t be deceived by the photo, these pins are tiny! About 1.5″ x 1″ in size, I just took a very close up photo of it.

To enter, all you have to do is comment on this post and tell me what is one line in theĀ book Ender’s Game that you want to see make it into the movie.

This contest will run for one week from September 23, 2012 to September 29, 2012. Only one entry per person. Open worldwide. Five winners to be chosen at random.

Winners will have 48 hours from notification to claim prizes before they are awarded to another contestant.

    UPDATE: Here are the winners!

  • Ender’s Game Production Jackets

    Ender’s Game Production Jackets

Cast members have been tweeting about receiving their Ender’s Game production jackets and stand-in Kelvin Harrison posted a photo of his (above). Looks like a cool jacket and hopefully we get to see something similar for sale next year when they begin marketing the movie.

While the font and logo shown was used for production purposes and also for the promo poster seen at the Licensing Expo, that may still change once they begin releasing things for the movie at an official capacity.

That just makes this one that much more awesome and collectible, though!

Suraj Partha took a photo of a keychain with a dragon on it and the caption “Dragon Army”, though it’s not clearly whether this is actually the Dragon Army logo. It most likely is not, as I’d imagine he’d get in a bit of trouble for posting something like that.

Very nice keychain regardless! These photos have been added to the Cast Photos gallery.
